  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and system transactions
  • one year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays with rotation for store opening and closing

Job Duties

  • Greet all customers in a warm, professional manner representing Ashley's brand image
  • provide exceptional customer service through all interactions including in-person, phone, and email communications
  • assist with processing sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring required documentation is complete and proper approvals are obtained
  • process customer credit applications, assist with financing arrangements, and maintain accurate customer account information
  • follow established cash handling procedures, process payments accurately, and reconcile transactions under supervision
  • address customer inquiries and concerns professionally, escalating complex issues to management and following up to ensure resolution
  • support management with operational audits, inventory processes, and compliance checks by gathering documentation and verifying paperwork accuracy
  • maintain accurate records, prepare routine reports, and ensure all sales and office paperwork is properly completed and filed
  • work cooperatively with sales team, merchandising personnel, and other store associates to ensure seamless customer experience and efficient store operations
  • utilize point-of-sale systems, retail management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business tools efficiently
  • complete any additional tasks assigned by management
