Busch Vacuum Solutions is eager to expand its team with a dynamic and organized Customer Service Representative at their Virginia Beach headquarters. This full-time, onsite role requires dedication from Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with some flexibility to accommodate business needs. The Customer Service Representative acts as the linchpin between customers and internal teams, managing order entry, order management, and transactional processing using SAP and CRM systems. The role is geared towards individuals who are detail-oriented and capable of thriving in a high-paced, B2B manufacturing environment while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include receiving and responding to customer inquiries, maintaining accurate order details including pricing, delivery dates, and compliance with company policies, and ensuring order accuracy from entry to fulfillment. The ideal candidate will be proficient with ERP systems, particularly SAP, and capable of coordinating effectively with various departments such as sales, production, and logistics. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience supporting customer orders, order entry, or order management in a B2B products environment
  • experience processing orders or transactions within an ERP system such as SAP
  • intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen, 7-year criminal history check
  • most felonies are a disqualifier, misdemeanors are considered on a case-by-case basis
  • willingness to travel domestically for training
  • valid drivers license maintained throughout employment meeting Busch insurance standards
  • current work authorization in the United States
  • physical ability for frequent sitting, occasional standing and walking, occasional lifting up to 20 lbs, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling
  • ability to hear audible alarms and see visual signals
  • ability to wear required PPE including safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience supporting customer orders, order entry, or order management in a B2B products environment
  • experience processing orders or transactions within an ERP system such as SAP
  • intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • experience reviewing customer purchase orders, pricing, delivery dates, and shipping details preferred
  • experience supporting customer orders in a manufacturing, industrial, or technical product environment preferred
  • experience coordinating with internal teams such as sales, production, logistics, or warehouse teams preferred
  • experience with CRM systems preferred
  • strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Receives, researches, and answers internal and external customer and key account inquiries and requests regarding standard products, prices, and delivery
  • accurately enters, maintains, and updates sales orders in SAP, ensuring correctness of: pricing, delivery dates, credit worthiness, freight, billing and shipping, tax status and part numbers
  • works effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and maintaining accuracy
  • reviews orders for completeness and compliance with company policies prior to release
  • remains current on changes in policies, procedures, and product offerings, assuring compliance
  • creates and maintains customer records and master data updates in SAP and CRM systems
  • applies appropriate discounts and commissions based on company schedules
  • interfaces with sales team, credit department, engineering, production and warehouse on behalf of key accounts and customer requests
  • maintains correct customer information including names, addresses, etc.
