The position available is for a Customer Service Representative who will be an essential part of the bank's client-facing team. This role requires working on-site and involves performing basic to moderately complex banking transactions under general supervision while adhering to established policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for delivering high-quality service by accurately processing transactions, addressing customer inquiries, and maintaining accounts. The work demands strong attention to detail, operational accuracy, and a solid understanding of bank products and compliance standards. Moreover, the representative will be instrumental in providing referrals for additional banking products and services, thereby supporting the bank's goal of fostering meaningful customer relationships.

This role also includes responsibilities such as cash handling and balancing, identifying and responding to potential fraudulent activities, assisting with branch opening and closing procedures, and supporting compliance and administrative tasks including audit functions and regulatory reporting. With a pay range of $20.00 to $25.00 hourly, this position is eligible for the Retail Incentive Plan and offers an extensive benefits package for employees working 25 hours or more per week. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Performs routine teller transactions and works directly with clients
  • Accepts, verifies, and processes basic to more complex customer transactions according to established procedures and security guidelines
  • Assists customers with account reconcilement, copies of statements and checks, orders checks, account closures, address changes, stop payments, debit card maintenance, and safe deposit box entrances
  • Provides exemplary customer service both in person and over the phone
  • Identifies additional customer needs and makes recommendations through proactive conversations
  • Educates customers on banking technology such as mobile and online banking
  • Maintains and balances a cash supply for transactions
  • Reviews customer transactions for red flags and fraudulent items
  • Assists in the opening and closing of the branch following security procedures
  • Gathers data and processes various compliance reports and assists with branch audit functions
  • Completes required compliance tasks by assigned due dates
