Job Description
Our establishment is a busy, American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited veterinary practice known for its commitment to providing high-quality care to animals and exceptional service to pet owners. As a highly respected veterinary clinic, we pride ourselves on maintaining a supportive and welcoming environment for both our clients and team members. With a focus on professional growth and excellent patient care, our practice has experienced continuous growth and now prepares for further expansion with the addition of new doctors in the coming year. This positive outlook reflects our position as a trusted community resource for veterinary health and wellness.
We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. This role is central to the smooth operation of our practice and requires a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. The position is designed for someone who values teamwork and enjoys helping clients by providing a welcoming and informative first point of contact. The Customer Service Representative will play a pivotal role in managing the daily interactions that ensure pet owners receive timely assistance and clear communication regarding their pets’ care needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting clients, answering inquiries, processing patient admissions and discharges, and managing payments efficiently. Handling busy phone lines with a top-notch customer service approach is essential, as this includes answering questions, screening calls for veterinary service needs, and scheduling appointments with accuracy. Additionally, the role involves managing incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and texts, along with keeping the client waiting area clean and comfortable—a reflection of our commitment to a positive client experience.
Our practice uses state-of-the-art practice management software, and the Customer Service Representative will be expected to meticulously document and maintain client information, service records, and other relevant data. The ability to escalate complex matters to senior staff ensures that difficult situations are handled professionally and promptly. With a competitive pay scale ranging from $17.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience, and a generous benefits package, this opportunity offers a rewarding career path in veterinary customer service.
We encourage applicants who are enthusiastic, dedicated, and eager to work in a collaborative environment to apply. If you have experience in customer service, an aptitude for computer systems, and a passion for animals, you will feel right at home on our team. Join us to be part of a workplace culture where colleagues are treated like family and committed to mutual support and professional excellence.
