This current opening is for a Customer Service Representative who will be working on-site to support the bank's day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service by accurately processing a variety of banking transactions, maintaining account information, and assisting customers with their inquiries. Job Requirements
- High school degree or GED required
- Minimum 1 year experience in banking environment preferred
- 1 year customer service and cash handling experience required
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to make decisions using available information
- Basic knowledge of bank deposit products and services
- Ability to understand loan requests and make appropriate referrals
- Knowledge of applicable bank policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High School Degree or GED
- Minimum 1 year experience in banking with knowledge of deposit products and services preferred
- 1 year customer service and cash handling experience in a customer-facing role
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail

Job Duties
- Performs routine teller transactions and works directly with clients
- Accepts, verifies, and processes customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, payments, transfers, and mailed/night drop transactions
- Works quickly to service customers while maintaining attention to detail and compliance with policies
- Assists with account reconciliations, statement copies, check orders, account closures, address changes, stop payments, debit card maintenance, and safe deposit services
- Provides exemplary customer service in-person and over the phone
- Identifies customer needs and makes product and service referrals
- Educates customers on mobile and online banking technology
- Maintains and balances cash supply following cash handling policies
- Reviews transactions for fraudulent activities and refers issues to management
- Assists in opening and closing the branch following security procedures
- Gathers data and processes compliance reports ensuring adherence to bank policies and regulatory requirements
- Assists with branch audits and completes required compliance by due dates
