The Customer Service Representative at SRS Building Products in Cincinnati, OH, plays a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering outstanding service and fostering strong relationships with customers and internal teams. This full-time, on-site position involves direct interaction with walk-in customers, handling inquiries via phone and email, and providing sales support for the distribution of building materials. The role requires the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven office environment, collaborating with sales personnel, drivers, and the warehouse team to coordinate timely order fulfillment and maintain accurate customer records. Additionally, the representative utilizes CRM and ERP systems to process transactions and track customer data efficiently. The ideal candidate for this role possesses at least one to two years of customer service experience within a business-to-business context, preferably in building materials distribution, demonstrating proficiency in ERP platforms and CRM systems. Strong communication skills, active listening, problem-solving abilities, and a motivated attitude aligned with the company culture are essential. Responsibilities include managing customer inquiries and complaints, providing product information, supporting sales efforts, and adhering to company policies and safety standards. This role reports directly to the Branch Manager and does not have supervisory responsibilities but plays an essential part in contributing to the overall operational efficiency and business growth at the Cincinnati branch. There is no travel required for this position, and physical demands include mostly sedentary work with some occasional lifting and movement within the office. Job Requirements
