Job Description

Instaloan is part of the Community Choice Financial Family of Brands, one of the largest consumer specialty finance organizations in the United States. With over 10 brands represented across more than 1,500 brick-and-mortar stores serving 24 states and offering online products in 20 states, the company is dedicated to providing accessible, short-term financial solutions to communities nationwide. Headquartered in Miami, FL, Instaloan operates with a commitment to helping people when they need financial assistance the most, offering a variety of consumer financial services including check cashing, money transfers, and payments processing.

As a Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Instaloan, you will be an integral part of a high-performance team, playing a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences that build lasting connections within the community. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals seeking to develop their careers in a supportive, dynamic environment where hands-on training, coaching, and career advancement opportunities are prioritized. The role involves interacting directly with customers to guide them through their financial service needs quickly and accurately, ensuring every transaction meets company standards for accuracy and compliance.

Your responsibilities will include managing various customer transactions such as check cashing and money transfers, entering data with precision into point of sale (POS) systems, as well as participating in account management and collections by accepting payments and scheduling customer appointments. The role also extends beyond the storefront to include on-site activities such as vehicle appraisals, store errands, external marketing campaigns, and community events participation. This comprehensive exposure offers a unique opportunity to develop a broad set of skills in a fast-growing and profitable company.

Instaloan emphasizes professional development through paid on-the-job training, a comprehensive new hire program, and access to an extensive learning management system filled with e-learning modules designed to enhance both professional and personal growth. The company is committed to fostering leaders from within, offering cross-brand training across its eleven national brands and a Key Holder Program targeted at cultivating leadership potential for future promotions. This commitment to career growth is underscored by performance-based advancement opportunities and an educational reimbursement program.

The compensation for this position starts at $15.50 per hour and is just one component of the total compensation package. Benefits include multiple medical insurance coverage choices with telemedicine and spending account options, a traditional and Roth 401(k) retirement plan with company match, company-sponsored life and AD&D insurance, voluntary benefits such as dental, vision, disability plans, supplemental life insurance, accident coverage, and more. Additionally, employees enjoy free access to mental health resources, life coaching, exclusive discount marketplaces, paid time off beginning with 12 days in the first year, and a relaxed business casual dress code that allows jeans and sneakers.

The role requires a full-time commitment, working a minimum of 40 hours per week including weekends, which may change at the company's discretion. Physical demands include prolonged standing, moving and lifting items up to 25 pounds, and operating mechanical controls such as keyboards. A background check is required in compliance with applicable laws, and applicants must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).

Instaloan and the Community Choice Financial Family of Brands pride themselves on being inclusive employers, committed to diversity and providing equal employment opportunities free from discrimination. This recognition is reflected in multiple industry awards, including Military Friendly Employer distinctions and being named among America's Greatest Workplaces in Financial Services. If you are motivated to build a rewarding career while making a real difference in your community, Instaloan provides the resources, culture, and opportunity for you to thrive.
