As a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you play an essential role in this high-performance environment, acting as the frontline ambassador who helps individuals in the community access vital financial services exactly when they are needed the most. The role involves building meaningful connections with a diverse customer base and accurately processing a range of financial transactions such as check cashing, money transfers, and customer payments. This full-time, in-person position in Sacramento offers an hourly wage of $21.00, which is part of a comprehensive Total Compensation package. The Customer Service Representative’s duties extend beyond simple transactional tasks. They include fostering repeat business by cultivating customer relationships, maintaining accurate and detailed customer records in the Point of Sale (POS) system, and participating actively in marketing efforts and community engagement through local events. Additionally, CSRs manage customer accounts, collections, and payments while ensuring store appearance remains inviting and complies with security procedures. The role demands strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with multiple computer systems and telephone technology, and the physical ability to stand for up to 90% of the time and manage light lifting.

  • valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use during workday (mileage compensated) is preferred

Job Duties

  • connect with customers to cultivate lasting relationships that drive repeat business
  • review, validate, and process customer transactions with accuracy
  • maximize customer success by offering personalized financial services that fit their lifestyle
  • enter and maintain customer information with precision and integrity into a point of sale (POS) system
  • build new business by completing daily call campaigns
  • assist in customer account management and collections by accepting payments and managing customer appointments
  • perform duties outside of the office, including on-site vehicle appraisals, store errands, and external marketing
  • maintain internal and external store appearance and meet cleanliness standards to enhance customer experience
  • maintain office security protocols and conduct proper opening and closing procedures, including management of vault and cash drawer
  • uphold compliance with company policies and all relevant local, state, and federal laws
  • engage in ongoing training and stay current on product and process changes
  • work efficiently in a dynamic environment and meet individual and team performance standards
  • conduct additional tasks as directed by leadership
  • maintain a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends
