California Check Cashing Stores, part of the Community Choice Financial Family of Brands, is a leading provider of short-term financial services across the United States. With over 1,500 brick-and-mortar locations in 24 states and additional online offerings in 20 states, Community Choice Financial Holdings has firmly established itself as one of the largest consumer specialty finance organizations in the country. The company prides itself on providing accessible, reliable financial solutions to diverse communities, helping individuals meet their urgent financial needs with transparency and care. Their commitment to customer service, community engagement, and employee development has earned them recognition as a Military Friendly Employer, Military Friendly Spouse Employer, and a Top Employer for Hispanic and Latinos for multiple consecutive years. Additionally, they have been recognized as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in Financial Services by Newsweek.
As a Customer Service Representative (CSR) at California Check Cashing Stores in Rohnert Park, CA, you play a vital role in this dynamic and fast-paced financial services environment. The CSR position is an entry-level opportunity designed for individuals eager to build their careers in financial services while making a meaningful impact in their community. In this role, you will be the face of the company, directly interacting with customers who rely on your assistance to access financial products like check cashing, money transfers, and payment processing. This role requires precision, professionalism, and a customer-first attitude to deliver exceptional in-store experiences that foster lasting relationships.
You will receive comprehensive paid training and ongoing support from the company to enhance your skills and knowledge, providing a strong foundation for career advancement within Community Choice Financial or any of its eleven associated brands. The company offers a competitive hourly wage of $21.00, alongside an attractive Total Compensation package that includes generous benefits and opportunities for professional growth. Success in this role can lead to placement in the Key Holder Program, aimed at developing leadership potential and opening pathways to management roles.
Beyond traditional customer service duties, you will be responsible for conducting selected external activities such as vehicle appraisals and local marketing events, thereby extending the company’s community presence. The role demands physical stamina to remain standing for extended periods, handle cash securely, and facilitate operational needs, including opening and closing procedures. Daily functions include managing customer transactions with high accuracy, maintaining store appearance to enhance customer satisfaction, and using digital systems for record-keeping and communication.
Candidates will benefit from a supportive work environment that encourages learning, cross-training, and career development through access to e-learning platforms and an educational reimbursement program. The company promotes an inclusive, business casual work culture that values diversity and professional integrity. If you're seeking a rewarding role that combines customer service, financial operations, and career growth in a well-established and expanding company, this position is tailored for you.
