With over 1,500 brick-and-mortar stores across 24 states and extensive online offerings, the Community Choice Financial Family is one of the largest consumer specialty finance organizations in the country. The company prides itself on its community-driven approach, offering products that empower customers with financial choice and flexibility when they need it most. Instaloan is recognized for fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace culture, one that values diversity and offers career advancement opportunities for its employees at all levels.
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) role at Instaloan is a dynamic entry-level position designed for individuals passionate about providing exceptional customer service while gaining valuable experience in the financial services industry. At an hourly wage of $15.50, CSR team members are entrusted with the vital task of assisting customers by processing transactions such as check cashing, money transfers, and payment processing. The role requires excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer programs.
This position goes beyond just transaction processing by encouraging team members to build meaningful connections with customers, thus driving repeat business and contributing to the company's overall customer loyalty. CSRs work in a fast-paced environment where multitasking and efficiency are key to meeting individual and team performance goals. The company invests heavily in training and development, offering paid on-the-job training, access to a comprehensive learning management system, and cross-brand training that facilitates internal mobility within its eleven brands nationwide. Moreover, CSRs have access to leadership development programs such as the Key Holder Program, paving the way for career advancement.
In addition to competitive pay, employees enjoy a robust benefits package that includes medical insurance with telemedicine options, retirement savings plans with company matches, various voluntary insurance plans, paid time off, and a relaxed business casual dress code. The company also fosters a community-oriented work environment by encouraging team members to participate in local events and marketing initiatives. In this role, CSRs may also have the opportunity to assist outside the office, including performing vehicle appraisals and participating in community outreach efforts.
Candidates for the CSR role must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama), pass a background check, and be physically capable of performing the demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds. Preferred qualities include bilingual skills, prior cash handling experience, and valid driver’s license with an insured vehicle for work-related tasks. Instaloan's commitment to inclusivity is reflected in its equal opportunity employment policy and its ongoing recognition as a Military Friendly Employer and Top Employer for Hispanic and Latino talent.
