Job Description
Chevron Stations Inc (CSI) is a well-established company operating retail gasoline stations that also offer convenience products across various locations. As a part of Chevron Corporation’s expansive business network, CSI prides itself on delivering high-quality service and products to its customers. With a reputation for safety, reliability, and customer focus, CSI has built a strong presence in the retail fuel industry. Located in Modesto, CA, the company’s station at 1600 Sisk Road is currently seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join their team. Chevron Stations Inc offers both full-time and part-time employment opportunities with competitive compensation ranging from $18.25 to $19.25 per hour. The company is fully committed to diversity and inclusion, providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified candidates regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or other protected statuses. Additionally, Chevron Stations Inc emphasizes the importance of employee well-being, offering various packages and programs to support health, education, and financial benefits.
The role available at Chevron Stations Inc involves working in a fast-paced retail gas station environment where safety, customer service, and teamwork are paramount. Employees must be self-motivated, dependable, and able to maintain complete focus on customer satisfaction while adhering to company safety and policy procedures. The position requires handling in-store retail sales, fuel transactions, and foodservice operations—specifically including the preparation and sale of products from Krispy Krunchy Chicken (KKC). Attention to detail, adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, and the ability to work under pressure are critical components of this role. The candidate will be expected to maintain cleanliness of the station, service equipment, and ensure a welcoming environment for customers.
Working at CSI means having the opportunity to work with a team that values excellence and puts people first. The company fosters a supportive workspace where every employee can grow their career. Employees will be responsible for cash handling, managing inventory, promoting store specials, and following governmental and company regulations on safety and age-restricted product sales. Beyond operational tasks, the role encourages professionalism when interacting with customers, vendors, and co-workers alike.
Furthermore, Chevron Stations Inc provides comprehensive benefits such as access to health and wellness packages, education reimbursement programs, shift differential pay for certain shifts, management bonus programs, loyalty service time rewards, and commuter benefit programs. These benefits indicate the company’s commitment to investing in their employees’ long-term success and well-being. The position involves some physical activity, including standing for prolonged periods, lifting products, and handling foodservice equipment, thus requiring the employee to follow proper safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear.
The job may require working varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight (Graveyard) shifts, with age restrictions applying accordingly. Supervisory responsibilities are not part of this role, and travel is rare, limited only to required training and coverage for nearby stations. Chevron Stations Inc aims to create a safe and inclusive work environment where employees are respected and supported in achieving their career goals.
