This includes cleaning various areas such as restrooms, pump islands, car wash zones, and food preparation areas following established guidelines and process cards. Hygiene, sanitation, and compliance with company standards related to refrigeration and cooking are priorities, ensuring all products meet quality standards and the environment remains safe for employees and customers alike.\n\nCash handling and transactional duties play a significant role in this position, requiring you to collect payments, process debit transactions, and manage cash while ensuring accuracy and security. Additionally, you will prepare fast food items according to company recipes and presentation standards, minimizing waste and adhering to safety and sanitation protocols. If necessary, you will instruct customers on using self-serve equipment, enhancing their shopping experience.\n\nYour responsibilities will also extend to operational aspects such as taking inventory, maintaining time records, preparing financial reports for your shifts, and operating and maintaining equipment safely. Stocking merchandise efficiently and maintaining designated "PRIDE" areas will help support the smooth functioning of the facility. This position often requires working varied shifts, including weekends and extended hours, often independently during quieter periods with some on-site supervision during daytime hours.\n\nPhysical stamina and an ability to work in varying weather conditions—hot summer days, cold winters, and rain—are essential. The job involves lifting items up to 25 pounds and managing a fast-paced environment that demands high energy and focus. Job Requirements

  • Must have the ability to lift at least 25 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior customer service or retail experience is beneficial
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of energy
  • basic math skills for handling cash transactions
  • ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies
  • food handling experience is a plus
  • ability to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings
  • demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • good organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Greeting customer with a smile, eye contact, and hello

  • responding to emergency situations and performing all required duties as indicated in the Hazard Communications Kit and Injury/Illness Prevention Manual
  • cleaning facility and equipment during shifts including restrooms, pump islands, pies, car wash areas, driveways, fountains, ovens, warmers, counters, containers, utensils, etc. using the Process Cards
  • collecting payment from customers for their purchases either in the form of cash or debit transaction and encouraging other purchases through up selling
  • interacting positively with the public and resolving basic customer service issues within prescribed limits, using tact and sound judgment
  • communicating effectively and positively both face to face and using the phone
  • understanding written and oral instructions
  • preparing fast food for sale, cooking and arranging hot foods to attractive presentation, minimizing waste and carefully following instructions and recipes
  • adhering to company standards regarding sanitation, refrigeration, and cooking
  • being responsible for all cash, merchandising, and equipment at the facility during assigned shift
  • instructing customers how to use self-serve equipment as necessary
  • preparing required reports to account for all funds and products sold at the facility during assigned shift
  • taking inventory of items, counting money and balancing reports in accordance with company policy
  • operating and maintaining facility equipment in a safe manner i.e. air machines, vacuums, car wash and convenience store equipment
  • stocking all shelves including walk-ins with merchandise
  • maintaining time record each week to accurately indicate the hours personally worked
  • maintaining assigned "PRIDE" areas
