Founded in 1964 and headquartered in the United States, Wawa has grown to become a beloved brand in multiple states across the East Coast. Known for its commitment to putting people first, doing the right thing, and making every day a little brighter, Wawa focuses on creating a welcoming and satisfying experience for customers. The company prides itself on a strong community presence and values that emphasize respect, fairness, and opportunity for all. Wawa offers a broad range of food and beverage options, including built-to-order sandwiches, specialty beverages, and fresh coffee, catering to the needs of customers on the go. As a company, Wawa has a reputation for its inclusive work environment and offers extensive benefits to its Associates, including medical, dental, vision, mental health programs, and financial rewards like an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and 401(k) plan with matching contributions. Flexible scheduling and paid parental leave are part of Wawa's influential efforts to support its team members both professionally and personally.

The Customer Service Associate (CSA) role at Wawa is a frontline, customer-facing position that embodies the spirit and values of the company. This role is essential in delivering the “wow” factor by greeting and engaging customers warmly, preparing and serving high-quality food and beverages, and ensuring the store environment remains clean, safe, and inviting. The Customer Service Associate is responsible for operating the cash register, handling payments, and assisting with age-restricted product sales, such as lottery tickets and fuel cards, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. This role demands an individual who enjoys interacting with customers in a fast-paced environment, can multitask effectively, and works well within a team atmosphere. The CSA plays a key part in maintaining stock levels and shelf appearance to uphold Wawa’s standards for freshness and availability.

The role is offered as part-time or full-time employment with an hourly wage ranging between $15.50 and $19.25, depending on position, experience, and location, including a $1.50 shift differential for overnight hours worked between 12am and 6am. Wawa is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to candidates with disabilities during the application process. The company promotes an inclusive workforce and equal opportunity employment by adhering strictly to federal and state anti-discrimination laws. As a CSA, individuals will expand their customer service skills, gain experience in handling retail operations, and contribute to a corporate culture that values integrity, respect, and professional growth.
