Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Available to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in customer service or retail environment preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Ability to handle customer concerns with professionalism and patience
- Basic math and organizational skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality with a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Engage customers in friendly conversation while making eye contact and smiling
- Proactively offer additional assistance or services and thank the customer for shopping at Wegmans
- Properly bag items to ensure products arrive at their destination in the condition they left the store
- Partner with departments to ensure questions are answered and problems are resolved
- Provide prompt and courteous responses to customer inquiries
- Assist in resolving complaints to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized service desk area
