Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Available to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in customer service or retail environment preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Ability to handle customer concerns with professionalism and patience
  • Basic math and organizational skills
  • Friendly and outgoing personality with a positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Engage customers in friendly conversation while making eye contact and smiling
  • Proactively offer additional assistance or services and thank the customer for shopping at Wegmans
  • Properly bag items to ensure products arrive at their destination in the condition they left the store
  • Partner with departments to ensure questions are answered and problems are resolved
  • Provide prompt and courteous responses to customer inquiries
  • Assist in resolving complaints to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean and organized service desk area
