- prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
- prefer prior work experience with Walgreens
- ability to engage customers effectively
- strong communication skills
- ability to maintain store appearance and comply with policies
Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- engages customers by greeting and assisting with products and services
- resolves customer issues and answers questions
- shares customer service best practices with team members
- provides fast, friendly, and efficient service
- recommends items for sale including trade-up and companion products
- processes sales transactions including voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
- maintains clean, well merchandised counters and shelves
- takes inventory and maintains records
- checks in and prices merchandise
- implements company asset protection procedures
- ensures compliance with state and local laws for regulated products
- constructs and maintains displays including promotional and seasonal merchandise
- assists with product placement and stock rotation
- utilizes store systems and equipment effectively
- provides customer service in the photo area including digital passport photo service
- manages web order pickups and delivers to customers
- assists with store maintenance and appearance
- complies with company policies and maintains respectful coworker relationships
- completes special assignments as needed
- attends training and completes assigned personal development modules
