The role of Customer Service Administrator 1 is vital to the operational success of our Service Center. This position involves performing a wide range of clerical duties that support the daily functions of the center, contributing to the overall efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing scanning operations to ensure accurate processing of billing documents, handling driver check-in procedures at the Gate Office, cashiering duties such as balancing daily cash reports and preparing deposits, and receptionist tasks including phone coverage and greeting visitors. The position also entails assisting the Linehaul Dispatch team as needed, helping maintain a smooth flow of operations even during times of staff absence.
As a Customer Service Administrator 1, you will interact regularly with both internal team members and external customers, requiring strong communication and customer relations skills. You will be responsible for organizing and directing drivers and visitors on-site, ensuring procedures are followed correctly and efficiently. Job Duties
- perform clerical duties supporting the operational function of the Service Center
- use scanning machine to process bills into the company system
- pick up bills and deliver them on the dock
- assist Linehaul Dispatch during staff absences
- receive drivers at the gate and obtain necessary information
- assign driver numbers and parking for trailers
- direct visitors and truckers on premises
- balance daily cash reports and prepare bank deposits
- provide phone coverage managing a switchboard console
- distribute and collect applications from job applicants
- welcome visitors to the Service Center
