Job Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years experience and contacts in the restaurant/food industry
  • high school diploma
  • valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR
  • able to work independently
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • local travel up to 90 percent

  • 3 to 5 years experience and contacts in the restaurant and food industry
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR
  • ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • professional and ethical demeanor
  • ability to work independently
  • adept at managing customer relationships
  • familiarity with regulatory and inspection processes desirable

Job Duties

  • Solicit new business and maintain existing customer base
  • communicate with customers to ensure service satisfaction and identify additional service needs
  • meet with cancelled accounts to understand reasons and attempt retention
  • schedule meetings and conduct cold calls as directed by management
  • prepare customer setup sheets and enter new customer information into routing system
  • provide daily operational reports to management
  • follow department and company procedures
  • maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • interact professionally and ethically with customers and personnel
  • follow up on uncollected stops to resolve routing issues
  • travel extensively to customer locations
  • perform other duties as assigned to support business operations
