This dedication has enabled the company to emerge as one of the world’s premier rendering companies. With a workforce that emphasizes excellence, Baker Commodities continues to grow and maintain its leadership in the market.
This position is focused on the procurement and maintenance of business relationships within the restaurant, meat, fish, and food processing industries. The role involves both acquiring new customers and ensuring the satisfaction and retention of existing accounts. The incumbent will be responsible for soliciting business related to hard materials, grease trap services, used cooking oil collection, and the repair and maintenance of drains and grease traps. The position requires frequent communication with clients to assess their service needs, resolve concerns, and propose additional solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
The role demands an individual who can effectively manage customer relationships through ongoing communication, clear oral and written skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with different levels of personnel, including company management, division staff, and even city or county inspectors. A significant portion of the workday—approximately 75 to 90 percent—will involve fieldwork, including visiting customer sites, conducting cold calls in designated areas, and meeting with former clients to regain canceled accounts.
Additionally, the position involves administrative tasks such as preparing customer setup sheets, entering new data into routing systems, and providing daily reports to management. The successful candidate must demonstrate professionalism and ethical behavior, adhere to company procedures, and ensure punctuality and regular attendance as critical factors for the smooth operation of business. The candidate should also be adaptable and open to performing other duties as assigned, which may evolve to meet changing business needs.
Overall, this role offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that delivers essential services to a variety of industries while fostering strong customer relationships and contributing to the financial growth of Baker Commodities Inc. The environment supports growth, teamwork, and results-driven performance while aligning with the company’s core values of integrity and service excellence.
