Job Description

StandardAero is a global leader in aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, specializing in providing comprehensive solutions to the aerospace and defense industries. With decades of experience and a commitment to excellence, StandardAero supports a diverse range of engines and airframe components, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Known for its customer-centric approach, innovative technology, and skilled workforce, StandardAero serves commercial, business, and military aviation customers around the world.

As a Customer Project Manager (CPM) supporting the TFE731 turbofan engine service offerings at StandardAero, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between customers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and internal maintenance teams. This highly visible and dynamic position requires an individual who is adept at managing multiple complex projects simultaneously in a matrixed MRO environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that engine maintenance events are executed safely, efficiently, and on schedule, aligning with contractual obligations and performance goals.

In this role, you will manage engine maintenance programs for up to 30 active customers, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the TFE731 maintenance lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with various internal departments such as production, engineering, procurement, quality, logistics, and administration to ensure seamless execution of projects. You will also engage with customers and OEM partners to maintain consistent communication, resolve potential issues proactively, and provide alternative solutions when deviations from plans occur.

This position demands strong project management skills, financial acumen, and the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority. You will be expected to establish operational objectives, develop execution strategies, track budgets and labor targets, and monitor performance through sophisticated reporting tools. Additionally, you will support commercial growth by educating customers on StandardAero's capabilities, pricing initiatives, warranty programs, and special engine services.

The role requires a minimum of three years of mechanical experience in aviation, preferably with exposure to turbine engines, and at least three years of project management experience involving multiple stakeholders. Proficiency with tools like Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite is essential. The position is based on-site, underscoring the need to work closely with engine maintenance operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aviation professional passionate about delivering top-tier customer service and operational excellence within the aerospace MRO sector.
