The role of Customer Experience Manager at Balfour Beatty Communities is integral to maintaining these high standards of living experience. This position is responsible for delivering and maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction through a variety of marketing, sales, and engagement activities. The Customer Experience Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Community Management Team to achieve leasing goals and maintain budgeted occupancy levels. They oversee the entire leasing process, from initial resident engagement through to lease renewal or move-out, ensuring an enjoyable and seamless experience. This includes guiding the Resident Experience Specialists who often represent the first point of contact for prospective residents and act as ambassadors for the community. In this role, the manager will implement marketing strategies to attract new residents, conduct property inspections, ensure compliance with company policies, and facilitate resident engagement through coordination of events and activities. With a pay rate of $65,000 per year, the employment offers the opportunity to be part of a reputable company that values dedication and personal growth. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum three years of relevant customer service experience
  • Preferably experience in property management or hospitality
  • Strong communication and customer engagement skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with property management software like Yardi is advantageous
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and safe driving record

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum three years of work experience in customer service
  • Experience in property management or hospitality preferred
  • Strong customer engagement and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with property management software such as Yardi is a plus
  • Valid state issued driver’s license with a safe driving record

Job Duties

  • Achieve budgeted occupancy and implement marketing strategy
  • Review leasing and prospect management per company Exceptional Living policy
  • Renew residents at end of lease terms as needed
  • Deliver the highest level of resident experience and satisfaction through positive and professional interactions
  • Create an Exceptional Living experience from home offer to lease renewal or move out ensuring smooth transition
  • Regularly inspect properties to identify deficiencies or issues
  • Conduct pre-inspections on move-ins and move-out inspections using company software
  • Assign and monitor Resident Experience Specialists’ neighborhood or designated streets responsibilities
  • Conduct vacate notice follow-ups and inspections
  • Manage on-site audits to ensure compliance with company policy
  • Assist with resident engagement events and Lifeworks activities
  • Maintain knowledge of community lease agreements and policies
  • Meet, greet, engage and welcome prospective residents addressing their needs and resolving objections
  • Conduct market surveys comparing competition strengths and weaknesses
  • Train staff on software system usage to ensure compliance
  • Ensure availability of all touring options including in-person, virtual, website, and recorded tours
