Job Description
Intuit is a leading financial software company known for its commitment to simplifying complex financial tasks and helping individuals and businesses manage their finances with ease. Among its flagship products is TurboTax, a widely recognized tax preparation software that empowers millions of customers to file their taxes accurately and confidently. Intuit is dedicated to delivering excellent customer experiences through innovative technology and exceptional service, fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment for its employees. The company operates across various locations in the United States, offering competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth. Intuit values a culture of continuous improvement, diversity, and collaboration, which makes it a desirable employer for individuals passionate about making a positive impact through meaningful work.
The role of an in-person Customer Advisor at TurboTax is a vital position designed for hospitality-focused professionals who prioritize delivering an outstanding customer experience. This year-round, non-exempt service role centers around being a trusted, approachable, and proactive guide for customers visiting retail locations. Unlike traditional tax preparer positions, this role emphasizes interpersonal connection rather than tax expertise. The Customer Advisor serves as a dedicated host and navigator helping customers feel genuinely welcomed, understood, and cared for. By listening attentively to each customer's unique situation, the advisor helps people navigate their options, ensuring that they are connected with the right services or tax experts within the TurboTax network.
Working as a Customer Advisor at TurboTax involves setting a warm and professional tone from the moment customers enter the store, actively resolving questions and concerns, and reducing friction to create a seamless and high-touch service experience. The advisor plays a crucial role in championing the Intuit and TurboTax brands by embodying their values of attentive hospitality and premium service. Additionally, the advisor contributes to ongoing improvements by providing feedback to enhance both employee and customer experiences. This role demands flexibility, empathy, and excellent communication skills to serve a diverse customer base effectively.
Compensation for the role is competitive and varies by location, with hourly wages ranging approximately from $24.23 to $32.21, depending on the specific region. The position also includes eligibility for cash bonuses and equity rewards based on performance. Intuit’s benefits package for Customer Advisors further strengthens the appeal of this role by providing comprehensive health insurance, 401(k) retirement savings with company matching, paid time off, and various employee assistance programs. These benefits demonstrate Intuit's commitment to supporting the well-being and long-term success of its employees.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about creating memorable customer interactions and thrive in a people-first, hospitality-driven environment. It offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a respected national brand that is not only transforming the way Americans approach tax preparation but also fostering a community-oriented customer service culture. If you are a compassionate, service-driven professional looking to join a dynamic and growing program with impact, the Customer Advisor position at TurboTax offers a meaningful and rewarding career path.
