Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • one year of customer service experience preferred
  • one year of call center experience preferred
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • excellent critical thinking skills
  • excellent de-escalation skills
  • excellent active listening skills
  • ability to multitask by shifting between open applications while speaking with patients
  • ability to type 40+ words per minute with accuracy

Job Duties

  • handling a high-volume number of both incoming and outgoing phone calls daily
  • updating account information such as product needs, insurance, contact information
  • placing resupply orders for current patients that receive incontinence supplies and catheters
  • researching insurance payer requirements and understanding reimbursement procedures
  • troubleshooting equipment problems and offering product changes
  • maintaining HIPAA/patient confidentiality
  • complying with laws, regulations, and policies as a condition of employment
