The role includes the requirement to obtain and maintain state commercial applicator certification and an agricultural commercial driver’s license (Ag CDL). Applicators are expected to carry out daily equipment inspections, maintain accurate logs, and perform calibration and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance. Seasonal workload variations and overtime requirements may be necessary, reflecting the demands of agricultural cycles.
