Duties encompass cleaning and sanitizing floors, furniture, fixtures, and outdoor spaces such as patios, walkways, and parking areas. Power washing and window washing ensure that the community remains visually appealing and hygienic. Custodians also assist with miscellaneous tasks such as waste removal, linen transport, and furniture arrangement, requiring a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to maintenance. This position supports the Housekeeping Department's mission to create a healthy, inviting environment that residents can take pride in.

The Custodian/Janitor role at Sandhill Cove is a part-time position with shifts from Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The starting hourly rate is competitive at $17.00 per hour, reflecting the organization’s respect for this crucial function.
