Job Requirements
- Must be able to do physically demanding work involving miles of walking a day
- must wear composite shoes/boots
- able to lift heavy loads
- Wednesday-Saturday availability, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- must be punctual and reliable
- ability to work safely around chemicals and in varied weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a janitor, custodian, cleaner or housekeeping position preferred
- able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
- frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs
- must have reliable transportation
- strong organizational skills
- ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
Job Duties
- Pick up and dispose of trash and debris throughout jobsite, haul trash to dumpsters
- sweep and clean work areas throughout the project
- able to distinguish between trash/scrap and stored materials
- work in an organized manner completing areas as you go
- work in close proximity with other trades in a fast-paced environment
- remove and bail cardboard
- move and stack pallets
- floor cleaning
- operate fork truck
- open to all tasks assigned
