The Custodian/Janitor position plays a critical role in ensuring that the work environment remains clean, safe, and inviting for employees, visitors, and clients. The Facilities team maintains not only spotless warehouses but also beautifully manicured lawns and walking trails, contributing to both the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the premises.

The Custodian's responsibilities include cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and various building maintenance tasks. Key duties involve handling janitorial machinery such as floor scrubbers, managing waste by gathering and emptying trash, and ensuring restrooms are clean, serviced, and adequately stocked at all times. The Custodian works cooperatively with the team to uphold Uline's stringent cleaning standards and uses a work order system to log time spent on various tasks, ensuring accountability and effective workflow management.
