The Recycling Technician/Custodian position at Amentum is a vital role within the company’s operations and maintenance team located in Robbinsville, NJ. This full-time role typically follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, although hours may vary based on business demands. The hiring salary range for this position is between $19.00 and $21.00 per hour, dependent on an applicant’s education, experience, skills, and internal equity considerations. In this role, the technician will play a critical part in supporting the company's Solid Waste and Recycling Program, assisting a premier industrial client in achieving strategic waste reduction and recycling targets aligned with zero waste principles. Responsibilities include overseeing recycling activities involving materials such as wooden pallets, rims, cardboard, heavy and light metals, and general trash disposal. The position requires efficient coordination with subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance and effective waste management, as well as accurate tracking and reporting of waste management performance data.

The ideal candidate brings a strong record in customer service and teamwork, showcasing the ability to engage effectively with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and external organizations. The role also carries custodial duties, including cleaning and maintaining buildings and facilities to meet safety, security, and quality standards.
