The available position at Roger Williams University is a full-time Facilities Management Union role focused on custodial services. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the university's buildings and facilities across its campuses. In addition to custodial duties, the position involves basic maintenance activities such as locking and unlocking doors, moving furniture and supplies, and painting as directed. Promptly reporting any repair needs to maintenance ensures a well-maintained campus infrastructure. The university provides mandatory safety training for all custodial team members, underscoring its commitment to a safe work environment. The successful candidate will be eligible for a $500 signing bonus upon completion of a four-month probationary period, competitive salary, and an excellent benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, paid holidays, tuition benefits, and a generous 403(b) retirement match. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are dedicated to maintaining high standards of facility cleanliness and functionality while contributing to the university’s mission of academic excellence and community engagement.
