Custodian, 3rd Shift

The Custodian position involves performing a wide range of cleaning duties in various areas including classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common spaces throughout the campus. This role requires adherence to established cleaning protocols and schedules to ensure every area meets our cleanliness standards. Responsibilities include mopping, stripping, and finishing floors, cleaning hard-to-reach areas requiring the use of ladders, operating heavy cleaning equipment, and occasionally moving furniture or other building materials. Additionally, the Custodian will be involved in rodent and pest control efforts to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. This position is a full-time role requiring availability for a 40-hour workweek over 12 months, with specific shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am.

As a Custodian, you will contribute significantly to the functional and aesthetic upkeep of the campus, directly impacting the daily experience of those who use our facilities. Candidates with previous experience and training in custodial duties and equipment operation will find this role both rewarding and essential to our campus operations. We seek individuals who are organized, able to work well with others, and physically capable of performing the demands of custodial work such as climbing ladders and lifting heavy objects.
