Job Description

Resurrection Christian School (RCS) is a distinguished private, non-denominational Christian college-preparatory school located in Loveland, Colorado. Established in 1998 by Rez.Church, RCS has grown significantly and today is recognized as the largest Christian school in Northern Colorado, serving nearly 900 families across 19 communities within a 25-mile radius. The school caters to students from Pre-K through 12th grade, with enrollment expected to reach approximately 1,350 students by the 2025-2026 academic year. Fully accredited by both the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and AdvancED, RCS is committed to delivering a rigorous academic program in a nurturing environment that emphasizes faith and family values.

Working at Resurrection Christian School means becoming part of a community that prioritizes God over everything, fostering growth both personally and professionally within a supportive and faith-driven atmosphere. The school culture is rooted in strong Christian principles and seeks individuals who share a passion for serving others and contributing to a positive educational environment.

The Custodian position at Resurrection Christian School plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the entire campus. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, welcoming, and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors alike. As a custodian, the successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks across classrooms, offices, halls, bathrooms, and other facilities, demonstrating a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and organization.

This role involves operating and maintaining various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, carpet shampooers, and auto scrubbers. The custodian will also be expected to perform minor maintenance duties like replacing light bulbs, painting, and moving furniture when necessary. The role requires not only physical stamina and attention to detail but also the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while working both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Safety is of paramount importance at RCS, and custodians are required to adhere strictly to safety protocols, use personal protective equipment, and report any unsafe conditions promptly to ensure a safe workplace for everyone. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the daily life and mission of a vibrant Christian educational community.

The hourly wage for this position is $18. Full-time employees working 30 or more hours weekly are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, dental and vision insurance options, a retirement savings plan, and more. Benefits begin the first day of the month following the hire date, reflecting RCS's commitment to supporting employees beyond just the workplace.

If you are detail-oriented, dependable, and ready to be part of a mission-driven school that values faith, family, and excellence, then the Custodian role at Resurrection Christian School is a great fit. Join a team where your work will make a meaningful impact every day, keeping the school environment safe and beautiful for the students and staff who call RCS home.
