Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Perform daily custodial services including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, conference rooms, laboratories, and common areas
- Utilize environmentally preferable "green" cleaning products, materials, and methods in compliance with federal sustainability requirements
- Follow green cleaning procedures designed to reduce environmental impact and improve indoor air quality
- Replenish restroom and facility supplies including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, doors, and other high-touch areas
- Operate standard custodial equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
- Follow OSHA, and site-specific safety procedures and protocols
- Handle cleaning chemicals and materials in accordance with safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to management
- Support periodic deep cleaning projects and special cleaning requests as needed
- Maintain professional conduct while working in a federal government environment
