The Custodian role at this company is a full-time, temporary-to-hire position located in Kent, Washington. The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $25.00 to $27.00 per hour and is scheduled for the day shift, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This role is critical in ensuring that the facility remains safe, clean, and well-maintained to support the important work conducted by the aerospace repair teams. This custodian position requires an individual who is self-motivated, takes pride in their work, and can operate independently in a professional environment.
In this role, the custodian will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining a wide variety of spaces within the facility including offices, restrooms, breakrooms, shop areas, warehouse spaces, and company vehicles. Additionally, the custodian will be expected to perform routine janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing floors, emptying trash, and keeping workspaces organized and presentable. Beyond cleaning, the custodian will assist with minor maintenance work such as replacing light fixtures, painting, basic drywall repairs, and unclogging drains to ensure the facility is in top condition.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1-2 years of janitorial, custodial, or facility cleaning experience
- Ability to safely use commercial cleaning products
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds throughout the shift
- Ability to perform basic facility maintenance and repair tasks

Job Duties
- Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, breakrooms, shop areas, warehouse spaces, company vehicles, and other facility areas
- Sweep, mop, buff floors, empty trash, and keep workspaces clean, organized, and presentable
- Monitor janitorial supply inventory and submit replenishment requests as needed
- Perform minor facility maintenance, including replacing light fixtures, painting, basic drywall repairs, and unclogging drains
- Follow safety procedures, complete hazardous waste training, and assist with additional facility-related tasks as assigned
