This role, Custodian at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre San Antonio, offers an exciting opportunity to be part of an attraction that values creativity and a guest-first approach. As a custodian, you will be the guardian of cleanliness and safety throughout the attraction, maintaining gleaming floors, well-stocked restrooms, and quickly addressing spills or other hazards. You will use specialized custodial tools and equipment to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety that enable an enjoyable environment for children and families. The position calls for hands-on work in a dynamic, play-focused setting, requiring flexibility to manage opening and closing routines and occasionally assisting with technical needs. Maintaining the attraction’s pristine condition and reporting maintenance issues proactively is also essential, ensuring smooth daily operations and avoiding any interruptions to guests’ experiences.

The role looks for dedicated individuals with at least 6 to 12 months of cleaning experience, alongside a high school diploma or equivalent preferred. A fun, dynamic, and friendly personality is crucial to connect with both the team and visitors, accompanied by excellent communication, listening, and motivation skills. Self-motivation is important, as custodians are expected to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within the crew. Flexibility is vital, as shifts can occur during days, nights, weekends, and holidays, commonly starting early before the attraction opens to guests.
