We are currently seeking Custodians to join our team for various shifts including Sunday through Wednesday and Wednesday through Saturday with both day and night options. The position starts at a competitive wage of $14.00 per hour. Custodians at our logistics facility play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the premises. This is a physically demanding job that involves extensive walking, lifting, and cleaning both indoor and outdoor areas to ensure a hygienic and orderly work environment. The role includes general janitorial responsibilities such as cleaning restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, and plant areas, as well as specialized tasks like removing and baling cardboard, moving and stacking pallets, floor cleaning, and operating a forklift if trained and qualified.

A key aspect of the role is adaptability, as custodians must be open and willing to take on a variety of tasks as assigned by management. Working in a logistics setting requires a commitment to safety procedures, especially when working with potentially hazardous chemicals and equipment. The ideal candidate will have previous janitorial experience, the ability to lift and move heavy objects up to and exceeding 50 pounds, and must be reliable in terms of transportation to and from the facility. Protective footwear such as steel-toe or composite-toe shoes or boots is mandatory to ensure safety while performing duties. Our custodians contribute to the smooth operation of the facility by fostering a clean, safe, and pleasant work atmosphere for all employees.
