Work shifts vary, with options including evenings and early mornings, running Sunday through Saturday, which accommodates a variety of schedules.

Custodians will perform essential cleaning tasks in various parts of the facility, including restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, and outdoor areas such as yard zones, guard shacks, and designated smoking areas. The job requires considerable walking and physical labor like lifting and moving heavy items such as trash bins and pallets, making physical stamina and strength important. The role also includes responsibilities beyond janitorial work, such as recycling tasks including cardboard removal and baling, floor cleaning, pallet moving and stacking, and operating forklift trucks when necessary.

Wearing composite safety shoes or boots is a mandatory requirement for this position to ensure worker safety.
