Custodian

We are seeking dedicated Full-Time and Part-Time Custodians to join our manufacturing facility located in Greensboro, North Carolina. Our company is committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and productive work environment that supports the manufacturing operations and staff. We pride ourselves on upholding high standards of cleanliness and safety across all areas of our facility, which includes office spaces, warehouse areas, production zones, restrooms, and exterior buildings. This position is ideal for individuals looking for steady, reliable employment with a competitive wage of $14.00 per hour. We offer both 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM shifts Monday through Friday, and 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM shifts Monday through Friday, providing flexibility in scheduling according to your availability. Our custodians are essential to our daily operations, as their efforts allow our manufacturing teams to focus on production without distraction or interruption.

The role goes beyond basic janitorial duties; it requires a high level of physical activity including extensive walking throughout the facility, and heavy lifting. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining restrooms, break rooms, office spaces, warehouse and production areas, as well as the outdoor spaces surrounding our buildings. Maintaining cleanliness in these areas directly contributes to workplace safety and the overall morale of our employees.

In addition to cleaning tasks, this role involves handling operational support tasks such as removing and baling cardboard, moving and stacking pallets, and floor cleaning. Experience with floor maintenance is highly preferred, as is the ability to operate a forklift when required. Our custodians support multiple departments and work areas, meaning that adaptability and a willingness to take on various responsibilities are key to success in this position.

The role also requires a valid driver’s license, as custodians may need to travel between different sites using company vehicles throughout the workday. This traveling aspect emphasizes the importance of reliability and responsibility, as you will be entrusted with company property and the upkeep of multiple facilities.
