Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- One-year related work experience or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend job description, cleaning instructions and material safety data sheet
- Basic communication skills for interaction with visitors and employees
- Valid driver’s license (MO "E" or IL "D") and pass The Salvation Army MVR check

Job Duties
- Perform housekeeping duties including dusting, window washing, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, vacuuming, spot carpet cleaning carpets, sweeping/mopping
- Make small or minor repairs such as change furnace filters, replace light switches/ballasts, replace faucets, doorknobs, etc. as necessary and report major repairs to supervisor
- Maintain Corps grounds including yard work, trash removal, snow removal, lawn mowing and outside repairs
- Keep maintenance rooms clean and in order
- Complete maintenance and corps furniture inventory
- Prepare rooms for Corps programs, luncheons and other meetings
- Assist in transporting participants to and from activities
- Make pickups and deliveries as needed
- Setup and run Target giveaway
- Maintain confidentiality and proper boundaries with clients following Safe From Harm guidelines
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere through professional communication and behavior
