The position available at MCHS Kaneohe Bay - Five Palms is for a Regular Part-Time NA-02 Custodial Worker. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within lodging corridors, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The Custodial Worker works closely with the Housekeeping team to ensure efficient and effective operations by performing a variety of cleaning, sanitation, and inventory tasks. Responsibilities include the removal and transport of soiled linen, managing linen inventory, trash removal, floor cleaning, dusting, and deep cleaning projects. The position requires adherence to safety protocols, including the use of signage and proper handling of cleaning chemicals. The Custodial Worker also supports guest comfort by delivering amenities and maintaining guest security and privacy.

This role demands physical stamina due to continuous standing, bending, lifting of objects up to 45 pounds (and heavier with assistance), and the operation of industrial cleaning equipment. Working conditions are primarily indoors but include exposure to strong cleaning solution odors and vibration from machinery. The Custodial Worker plays a crucial part in providing world-class customer service by being courteous, proactive in solving problems, and communicating effectively with customers and team members.
