Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • one year of previous supervisory or three years lead experience in housekeeping functions preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • ability to read, write, and understand English
  • ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics
  • ability to understand and carry out detailed written or oral instructions
  • basic knowledge of infection control procedures and universal precautions

Job Qualifications

  • One year of previous supervisory or three years lead experience in housekeeping functions preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist the Housekeeping Manager with daily duties
  • ensure all employees report to duty punctually, well-groomed, and in proper attire
  • assist in the development and implementation of schedules, duties, apparel, appearance, and conduct of all housekeeping staff
  • assist in the training of all Aramark and OSHA policies and procedures pertaining to employment, safety, and sanitation
  • ensure effective and responsible guest relations and administer lost and found policy
  • work closely with the maintenance department to ensure all repairs are completed and cleaned before guest arrival
  • direct control of linen counts and handling, maintain inventory of rooms
  • order and distribute all supplies and equipment, controlling costs
  • motivate housekeeping staff to maximize productivity
  • ensure all work areas are neat, clean, and organized
  • comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, emergencies, and energy
  • report to work timely and in complete uniform
