The Custodial Services Lead Worker at Aramark plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment in a K-8 charter school setting. This full-time leadership position operates Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with weekends off, providing a stable and consistent schedule. The role serves as the primary facilities and operations contact on the campus, working closely with school leadership, faculty, custodial staff, maintenance vendors, and Aramark management. The Lead Worker is responsible for overseeing the custodial team, ensuring the completion of assigned tasks to Aramark and client standards, and upholding safety regulations aligned with OSHA and other relevant authorities.

Job Requirements
- Previous custodial experience required
- Previous experience in a supervisory or related role preferred
- Must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers
- Adaptable to guest needs
- May require physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing
- May require usage of personal protective equipment
- May require wearing uniforms
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Schedules and assigns daily work assignments to a custodial team and leads all aspects of completion of tasks
- Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations
- Maintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others
- Accurately cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment
- Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
- Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
- Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
- Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
- Ensures security of company assets
