ABM (NYSE: ABM) is a globally recognized leader in facility services and solutions, committed to creating cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environments across a variety of industries. Founded in 1909, ABM serves over 20,000 clients and employs more than 100,000 team members in over 350 offices located throughout the United States, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, and other international locations. The company provides a wide array of essential services, including janitorial, engineering, parking, electrical and lighting, energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, HVAC and mechanical services, landscape and turf maintenance, and mission-critical solutions. ABM's diverse client base spans commercial office buildings, universities, airports, hospitals, data centers, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, entertainment venues, and more.

The Custodial Assistant Account Manager – Evening Operations role at ABM is a pivotal position responsible for leading, managing, and optimizing custodial services across a major medical university campus during the evening shift. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that academic buildings, research laboratories, clinical spaces, administrative offices, and common areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and welcoming condition for students, faculty, staff, patients, and visitors. The role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 and involves working an evening shift with hours varying according to operational needs.

In this leadership role, the Custodial Assistant Account Manager will direct evening custodial operations across multiple campus facilities, develop and implement staffing plans and cleaning schedules, and enforce stringent service standards to guarantee the highest level of cleanliness and safety. The position includes overseeing the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and cleaning chemicals in compliance with safety policies. Monitoring operational performance through inspections, audits, and key performance indicators (KPIs) is a key responsibility, alongside ensuring proper staffing coverage for normal operations, emergency responses, and special events.

A major focus of the role is team leadership and development. The Custodial Assistant Account Manager will recruit, train, mentor, and supervise custodial personnel, from frontline team members to supervisors and leads. Establishing performance expectations and conducting regular evaluations will help foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, safety, and customer service excellence. The role also manages employee scheduling, labor allocation, attendance, overtime, and productivity, with an emphasis on supporting ongoing employee development through coaching and training initiatives.

The Custodial Assistant Account Manager will conduct routine facility inspections and quality audits to maintain adherence to cleanliness standards, promptly addressing any deficiencies with corrective action plans. Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service quality, and cost-effectiveness is essential. Collaboration with campus stakeholders ensures custodial services meet or exceed organizational requirements and client expectations. The role also entails maintaining detailed records related to inspections, staffing, training, safety compliance, and overall operational performance.
