Job Requirements

  • Three or more years of volume cooking experience
  • Experience with recipe development
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and sanitation
  • Familiarity with food and beverage industry regulations
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to manage difficult interactions professionally
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Servsafe certification

Job Qualifications

  • Three or more years of experience in volume cooking in a similar or larger operation
  • Experience with recipe development and large batch cooking
  • Good knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, storage, and sanitation
  • Thorough understanding of food and beverage industry trends and regulations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle difficult situations professionally
  • Servsafe certification prior to hire

Job Duties

  • Prepare and execute exquisite entrees at Baleen Kitchen
  • Adhere to food preparation and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
  • Develop and follow recipes for large batch cooking
  • Maintain inventory and proper storage of ingredients
  • Communicate professionally with vendors and other departments
  • Uphold safety regulations and cleanliness in the kitchen
