Job Description

Noble House Hotels & Resorts stands out as a premier collection of luxury hotels and resorts that emphasizes an authentic connection to local culture and communities. Unlike typical hotel chains, each of their properties, including the esteemed Portofino Hotel & Marina in Redondo Beach, is uniquely designed to deliver exceptional experiences that captivate both guests and team members alike. The company's core values of Caring, Integrity, and Respect are woven into every aspect of their operation, creating an environment where both employees and guests feel valued and respected. The Portofino Hotel & Marina, nestled on a private peninsula in Redondo Beach and close to Hermosa and Manhattan Beach, offers a stunning waterfront setting combined with diverse amenities such as 168 guestrooms, multiple food and beverage outlets, a banquet facility, and a large 188-slip marina. This ensures a dynamic, engaging workplace with abundant opportunities to interact with guests and teammates in various capacities.

At the heart of the Portofino Hotel's dining experience is BALEENkitchen, an award-winning marina-front restaurant known for its chic interiors and inventive, seafood-forward menus. The culinary team at BALEENkitchen plays a critical role in preparing and executing exquisitely crafted entrees that delight locals and visitors alike. As part of this team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality dishes in an energetic, fast-paced environment that balances creativity with precise culinary techniques. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about food, eager to learn and grow professionally in a supportive, innovative atmosphere.

This full-time position offers competitive pay along with an extensive benefits package. Team members enjoy health, dental, and vision coverage, 401K with matching contributions, life insurance, paid time off, parking benefits, and complimentary meals during their shifts. Moreover, employees receive exclusive discount rates across the entire Noble House Hotels & Resorts portfolio, extending perks to their families for leisure stays. Learning programs and career development opportunities are also available, designed to empower staff to rise through the ranks and expand their skill sets within the organization.

The ideal candidate for this role will thrive on training and continuous learning while demonstrating excellent communication skills and a solid foundation in basic culinary techniques. Being part of this team means consistently maintaining high standards of food safety, preparation, and sanitation while fostering positive interactions with colleagues, guests, and vendors. Overall, the role is tailored for motivated professionals who want to build a rewarding career in culinary arts within a respected luxury hospitality brand that champions diversity, inclusiveness, and authentic employee engagement.
