Job Requirements

  • Culinary education or equivalent experience
  • experience working in high-volume dining or catering environments
  • food safety certification or ability to obtain
  • physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting 50lbs and extended periods of standing or walking
  • availability for flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • strong communication skills in English
  • adherence to uniform and grooming policies
  • commitment to workplace safety and teamwork

Job Qualifications

  • Professional training through culinary education or experience in a fast-paced, high-volume fine dining restaurant/catering facility, full service casual dining preferred
  • extensive knowledge of food and beverage menu, specials and services offered
  • ability to obtain food safety certification
  • ability to multi-task in a fast paced, team orientated setting
  • ability to read, speak and write in English
  • sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
  • ability to lift, push, pull approximately 50lbs
  • ability to stand or walk for long periods
  • availability for all Stadium events
  • practice safe work habits and follow all safety policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Follow Executive Chef and/or Sous Chefs assignments for opening and closing procedures and food preparation
  • report back to Chefs daily on progress and needs
  • lead a team with respect and commitment to exceeding guest expectations daily
  • perform daily uniform checks with staff and help Chefs maintain kitchen standards
  • ensure assigned staff prepare food items complying with portion size, quality standards, departmental rules, policies and procedures
  • maintain HACCP standards ensuring high-quality food, food temperatures, product rotation, cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • maintain cleanliness of kitchen including walk-in coolers, dry storage, shelves, walls, floors and drains
  • ensure all food preparation equipment is clean, sanitized and kept in a safe and operable condition, report issues to Chefs
  • identify and store meats, poultry, seafood, pasta, starches, dairy products and all other food items according to established standards
  • participate in monthly inventory for department responsibility
  • participate as a team player with specific responsibilities related to preparation, service and delivery of products
  • adhere to the Legends uniform and grooming guidelines
  • perform other duties as assigned
