Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role in food and beverage or hospitality industry
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
  • Basic computer skills for logging and record keeping
  • Up-to-date food safety certifications

  • Advanced knowledge of food preparation techniques
  • Experience coaching and mentoring kitchen staff
  • Strong kitchen equipment knowledge and troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent time management and delegation skills

Job Duties

  • Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and meets quality and presentation standards
  • Ensure food and ingredients are properly labeled and stored
  • Maintain required logs and temperature checks
  • Create positive associate relations to promote high engagement and low turnover
  • Lead the team in a fair, firm, and consistent manner
  • Train associates and ensure they are knowledgeable of expectations and certifications
  • Coach cooks on advanced food preparation techniques and troubleshoot kitchen equipment issues
