Job Requirements

  • Culinary training or equivalent experience
  • food safety certification or ability to obtain
  • experience working in a high-volume food service environment
  • strong leadership skills
  • excellent communication abilities
  • physical ability to perform kitchen tasks including lifting 50lbs and standing for long periods
  • availability to work varied hours including nights and weekends
  • team-oriented mindset
  • adherence to hygiene and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Professional training through culinary education or experience in a fast-paced, high-volume fine dining or catering facility
  • full-service casual dining experience preferred
  • extensive knowledge of food and beverage menus, specials, and services
  • ability to obtain food safety certification
  • ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
  • ability to read, speak, and write in English
  • sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling
  • ability to lift, push, or pull approximately 50lbs
  • ability to stand or walk for long periods
  • availability for all stadium events
  • ability to work extended hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays
  • practice safe work habits and follow all safety policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Follow Executive Chef and Sous Chefs assignments for opening and closing procedures and food preparation
  • report back to Chefs daily on progress and needs
  • lead a team with respect and commitment to exceeding guest expectations daily
  • perform daily uniform checks with staff and help Chefs maintain kitchen standards
  • ensure assigned staff prepare food items complying with portion size, quality standards, departmental rules, policies, and procedures
  • maintain HACCP standards ensuring high-quality food, food temperatures, product rotation, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
  • maintain cleanliness of kitchen including walk-in coolers, dry storage, shelves, walls, floors, and drains
  • ensure all food preparation equipment is clean, sanitized, safe, and operable
  • identify and store food items according to established standards
  • participate in monthly inventory for department responsibility
  • participate as a team player in preparation, service, and delivery of product
  • adhere to Legends Uniform and Grooming guidelines
  • perform other duties as assigned
