The Food Service Supervisor position is a full-time role offering a competitive hourly wage of $33.00. This role is key within Aramark’s Food Services Team and offers an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals looking to enhance their leadership skills and grow their careers. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work alongside a manager to coordinate and lead daily food service operations, oversee and support staff, and ensure that service quality and safety standards are consistently met. This position provides a dynamic work environment where your ability to multitask, mentor, and maintain operational excellence will be vital.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing food production schedules, ensuring food safety compliance, and maintaining inventory accuracy. You will also play an essential role in employee development by supervising staff, providing guidance, conducting evaluations, and fostering teamwork and morale. The position requires a proactive attitude and hands-on approach, including stepping in to cover for absent team members, supporting catering events when necessary, and performing general food service duties such as cashier work or order preparation.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or similar supervisory role preferred
- Ability to work full-time hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Ability to maintain composure under stress
Job Qualifications
- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year
- Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Maintain emotional control under stress
- Ability to resolve interpersonal situations

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
- Direct daily activities
- Maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies and procedures
- Ensure food items are stored safely and organized
- Maintain serving schedules and ensure food items are served per menu specifications
- Maintain sanitary department following health and safety codes
- Maintain accurate inventory weekly
- Prepare orders as needed to ensure accurate production
- Supervise and evaluate employees promoting growth and teamwork
- Maintain safe and hazard-free working environment
- Train and mentor food service workers
- Maintain maintenance logs on equipment
- Ensure food safety and temperature logs are completed with corrective action
- Perform preventative maintenance checklist
- Recommend equipment replacement
- Perform other duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager
- Fill in for absent employees as necessary
- Maintain knowledge of catering events and ensure timely preparation and delivery
- Work occasional night and weekend catered events
- Attend staff food service meetings
- Maintain communication with staff
- Perform cashier duties as needed
- Promote good public relations
