The role of Culinary Supervisor at Hyatt requires a comprehensive understanding of kitchen operations and culinary expertise. The supervisor assists with menu development and implementation, demonstrating knowledge in culinary trends and guest preferences. The Culinary Supervisor must possess the ability to step into the Chef de Cuisine's role during their absence, providing clear direction and maintaining the kitchen's smooth operation. Job Requirements

  • Culinary education or equivalent experience
  • Previous line and fine dining experience
  • Ability to manage kitchen operations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Leadership and coaching capabilities
  • Proficiency in cost control and budgeting
  • Availability to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

  • Good communication skills
  • At least 2 years of previous line and fine dining experience
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
  • Ability to work all stations of the kitchen

Job Duties

  • Monitor expo food production quality and consistency
  • Manage staffing levels and create schedules
  • Assist with menu development and implementation
  • Oversee cost control and budgeting processes
