The Culinary Supervisor role at Hyatt is a pivotal position requiring deep expertise in kitchen operations and culinary arts. This role demands mastery in producing consistently high-quality food that meets and surpasses guest expectations promptly. The Culinary Supervisor is responsible for overseeing various kitchen activities, including managing food production, ensuring quality and consistency, coordinating staffing levels, and maintaining smooth operations at the expo. The ideal candidate will possess culinary education, cost control knowledge, strong communication and organizational skills, proficiency with computers, guest interaction experience, and the ability to teach culinary techniques. Additional responsibilities include assisting with menu development and implementation, scheduling, payroll management, budgeting, training, and coaching staff members. The Culinary Supervisor must be capable of leading in the absence of the Chef de Cuisine, ensuring continuous kitchen excellence.
