Job Description

Sodexo is a global leader in providing integrated food services and facilities management, deeply committed to enhancing quality of life and creating meaningful experiences for its clients and employees. Operating across numerous sectors, including corporate, educational, healthcare, and sports and leisure industries, Sodexo aims to support both customers and employees by delivering tailored solutions that combine hospitality expertise with operational excellence. The company values diversity, culture, and inclusion, fostering an environment where each team member is respected and encouraged to thrive. Sodexo supports equal employment opportunities and promotes a workplace where all voices are heard and ideas are valued. The company’s commitment extends beyond the workplace to the economic, social, and environmental progress of the communities it serves.

This part-time Culinary Supervisor role is based at T-Mobile Park under the Sodexo banner, offering a pay range of $28 to $32 per hour. The role requires flexibility in working shifts, with open availability preferred to meet operational needs. As a Culinary Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily food production process, ensuring that kitchen operations consistently meet high standards of quality, safety, and compliance. Acting as the primary working supervisor above senior cooks and supporting the execution of production plans alongside sous chefs and executive chefs, this position carries significant responsibility for maintaining efficient workflow.

The Culinary Supervisor coordinates the culinary team, monitors production schedules, enforces standardized recipes and portion controls, and maintains safe kitchen operations according to industry standards. This hands-on role includes active participation in food preparation, directing team efforts, and reinforcing operational excellence. Duties often vary depending on the account, reflecting differences in kitchen structure, service models, and event volumes. The position requires strong leadership, culinary expertise, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation of culinary experience—typically 2 to 4 years—preferably with previous leadership responsibilities such as lead cook or kitchen supervisor roles. Experience in high-volume, multi-outlet, or event-oriented kitchens is highly valued, including familiarity with batch cooking and just-in-time production methods. The candidate must demonstrate competency in executing production sheets, prep lists, and event orders, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are rigorously followed. Relevant food handler and ServSafe Manager certifications are essential where applicable.

Sodexo offers a flexible and supportive work environment that encourages personal well-being and career development. This role provides opportunities for ongoing training and advancement, turning a job into a sustainable career. Employees benefit from a comprehensive package that includes paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, retirement plans such as 401(k), discount programs, and more. Additional site-specific benefits may include shift meals, uniforms, safety shoes, and commuter support.

Joining Sodexo as a Culinary Supervisor means becoming part of a global community devoted to making a difference every day through purposeful work. It’s more than a job—it’s a chance to contribute to a better everyday life for everyone involved, promoting safety, quality, and teamwork within an inclusive and respectful culture.
